We’re friends and you trust me, so I’m going to be honest here: I’ve never owned a Blackberry but am very familiar with just about every model that’s hit the market. The new KeyOne from BlackBerry might just convert me, though. It runs Android OS – 7.1 Nougat and comes pre-loaded with all the typical BlackBerry apps. The touch screen is 4.5″ with 433 PPI, 1620 x 1080 IPS LCD and 24-bit color depth. Pair that with the 12MP rear camera or 8MP front camera to get beautiful pictures. Couple other cool camera features: the rear camera can record at 4K while the front camera has a flash. The phone has a microSD slot that can support up to 2TB so you can catch all the high quality pictures and videos your little heart desires. The one gripe without actually having one in my hands to give you the full run down is of a feature we’ve grown accustomed to in phones these days but despise anyway: the non-removable battery. But at least it charges 50% in 36 minutes. If you’re serious about giving BlackBerry a try, now is the time. Get on the waiting list and then be ready to fork out a fair $550 when it’s available.
