Wundrwatch

Wundrwatch

Did you catch it? The most interesting thing about this watch is not that it is a single hand style (I like those a lot). The numbers are not where you expect them. It counts a 24 hr clock starting with 0 at the bottom. Where most of us, especially here in the States, are used to a 12 hour watch face, the Wundrwatch goes a full 24. At first, it seemed strange to not have the starting point be at the top, but the more I looked at it, the more it made sense to start 0 at the bottom.

On top of that unique feature, it is a beautiful watch. The case is 316L Stainless Steel. The movement is a Swiss Ronda. The strap is Italian leather and interchangeable, and the whole thing is water resistant to 100m. The only drawback I see is the choice of mineral glass over sapphire crystal, but that at least saves you some money. You can back their kickstarter and get a watch for about $223, but you’ll have to be quick, this campaign is doing very well and reward tiers are going fast. You can see a little animation of how to read the watch below.
