The Ol’ Berthoud Blue Tiny House was born when Alden realized how difficult it can be to build your own tiny house. She enlisted the help of Rocky Mountain Tiny Houses, who hit the ground running and delivered a finished model within 2 months. Different from other tiny houses we’ve featured, this one really puts the GLAM in glamping and we’re loving it. It has a huge bathroom (given the space) that doubles as a closet and storage space. There is a Japanese wood Ofuro soaking tub that includes a shower as well. There is a framed Squatty-Potty like compost toilet that really fits the space well.
The kitchen has it’s modern touches with Ikea cabinets and a stainless counter top. There’s plenty of storage space in the kitchen as well. The dining table converts to a daybed for lounging or having guests over. The stairs up to the loft has plenty of storage and house A/V equipment that is used for the projector and surround sound system in the loft. The skylights above where your bed might be provide awesome views of the sky above.
There is a 60 gallon freshwater tank for the times hook ups are available, which will really let you get your ultimate adventure in. Go ahead and check out all the pics and take notes for the tiny house you’re dreaming up.
