Yeti is finally stepping out of the cooler world with more than an accessory. The Panga line of duffel bags in 50, 75, and 100-liter sizes. They’re made of the same Thickskin high-density nylon, we’re used to with Yeti that is tough as hell and lasts forever. There are two mesh pockets on the inside and the bottom/back is EVA molded foam to give a little cushion if you wear it like a backpack using the included straps or just for when you toss it overboard onto the river rock shore. The zipper is 100% waterproof, so this whole thing is submersible while keeping your gear dry. That’s major. This is basically a dry bag that you don’t have to roll the top of or dump everything out of to get what’s at one end, thanks to the edge to edge zipper. All hardware is sturdy steel. All of this means that it isn’t an ultra-light bag. It’s the opposite. It’s big, heavy and burly. Sometimes that’s what you want and sometimes it isn’t. However, when you want it, you generally also need it and are in trouble without it. Like all of their stuff, it’s crazy expensive. The bags range from $300 to $400. You can order one today or wait until Rtic comes out with the copy cat.
