Christini, who introduced all-wheel drive bicycles back in 2001, has launched a kickstarter for the first ever all-wheel drive far bike. Christini teamed up with Kate Leeman to build a fat bike that would get her across Antarctica via the South Pole, which it did. Now, they are making that bike available to the masses. That is, if you consider $4,995 available to the masses. But, come on, how much did you expect a bike like this to cost? It’s a 4 in. split frame carbon fork all-wheel drive high-end component sporting snow pounding beast, and those aren’t cheap.
